~*sea urchin*~

Yay, my dear fren Feli and her colleague, Pauline are both in town. It's actually quite hard to think of which place is good for dinner since they are both of KL and there are so many nice food in KL too. So brought them to the Kaizen in the water front so that they can hav a night view of the Kampung Ayer. Well luckily, both of them find the japanese food there is nice and edible. Here comes the highlight of the nite, they were so adventurous and wanted to order sea urchin...
i hav always wanted to order sea urchin but from its looks i won't dare too...so sea urchin gunkan it is. i decided to at least try a little bit but it's lucky tat i took only a tiny bit...OMG! it tasted as bad as it looks! phew! luckily i didn't hav the whole gunkan to myself...else i might jus spit the whole thing out. so now i can cancel out the urge to order sea urchin everytime i see it on the menu. Look how Feli's reaction is before and after...

Ordered some of our 'usual' orders + some of those which we never tried before like this tortilla california temaki. surprisingly, it's not bad cause i don really like temaki with the traditional seaweed cause it's really hard to bite it off without making a mess.

Wat's japanese food without the famous Shake Sashimi?? They were both impressed with the thick slices of salmon and how generous the restaurant is as compared to those in KL where the salmon are all thinly sliced.
*Pauline busy taking pics*

After dinner, we decided to bring them to 'civilization'. Because they stayed in Radisson Hotel and it's quite inconvenient for them as there are no coffee bean or shopping center within walking distance. The location of Radisson Hotel is jus not tat great...still remembered Feli sending me the whatsapp about the hotel which she is gonna stay in Brunei (Radisson *peace*). i think if she knew the location back then she won't even send me a *peace* sign. Brought them to Gadong to let them know the happening side of Brunei. Can see their eyes glow when they saw the 'M' and coffee bean. Recommended them to stay in Rizqun instead for their next visit because everything is at its convenience with cinema, coffee bean, shopping mall all under one roof. and the best thing of all is tat it is cheaper than Radisson as well. Even staying at Times Hotel will be better cause there are still shopping areas and eateries around.
